Location: Birkenhead School, Wirral, CH43
Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 3pm – 6pm

You'll be supporting a secondary school through the delivery of safe, compliant and well-maintained learning environments.

About the Role

We are looking for a Cleaner to support the delivery of cleaning services across our Facilities Management contract. You'll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for customers, visitors and colleagues while ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.

You'll be supporting a school where cleanliness, presentation and service standards are key priorities.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Carry out daily cleaning duties across designated areas
  • Clean and sanitise offices, washrooms and communal spaces
  • Replenish consumables and cleaning supplies
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment and materials
  • Follow cleaning schedules and site procedures
  • Report maintenance issues, damages or hazards

 

What We're Looking For 

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable and professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to health, safety and quality standards

 

Experience within a commercial, healthcare, industrial or other customer-facing environment would further support your application.
